I'm Jerry Chen, a B.Sc. Honours Computer Science student with a Minor in Statistics at McGill University. I'm heading into my fourth year and expect to graduate in December 2027 after taking Fall 2026 off for an internship at Amazon Web Services.

Outside of work, one thing I absolutely love is balls. Soccer balls, basketballs, footballs, volleyballs, Spikeballs. Give me any type of ball and I can be entertained for hours. Beyond sports, I'm very into fashion, sustainability, spending quality time with friends, and obviously food.

I built this website as a place for me to journal my achievements outside of th LinkedIn bubble.

What I work on

My projects generally fall into three areas: software engineering, AI development, and NLP research. Software engineering is where I build full-stack and systems projects. AI development is where I experiment with LLMs and turn them into useful features. NLP research is the more academic side, focused on understanding how language models behave and where they are uncertain.
