About
I'm Jerry Chen — an undergraduate B.Sc. Honours Computer Science student (minor in Statistics) at McGill University. I'm currently figuring out where I want to put my time, somewhere between SWE and AI internships, startup ideas, and NLP research.
Outside of work, I've played soccer since I was 8 years old and recently started playing competitively again for Inter Montreal. Besides soccer, I'm very into fashion, sustainability, and eating amazing foods.
I built this website as a place for me to journal my achievements outside of th LinkedIn bubble.
What I work on
My work spans three loose tracks. Software engineering — typical full-stack and systems projects, including internships at RBC and InterPro Steel, as well as my Canadian University sports fantasy platform. AI development — building with LLMs and implementing AI features, including two very cool hackathon projects. NLP research — a more academic approach focusing on how LLMs work, exploring token uncertainty and potential methods of pruning uncertain outputs.
Projects on this site are tagged SWE, AI, NLP, or School so you can filter to the track you care about.
